This program is designed to provide unemployed South African graduates with hands-on experience in mining operations and engineering practices. The internship supports the development of local talent from host communities including Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, and Nigel. Responsibilities

• Assist with daily mining engineering tasks under supervision
• Support planning and execution of mining operations
• Participate in safety inspections and compliance monitoring
• Contribute to technical reporting and data analysis
• Engage in equipment and process evaluations
• Help maintain documentation related to mining activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Under 35 years of age
• No previous internship experience
• Currently unemployed
• South African citizenship
• Clear criminal record
• Medically fit
• Residing in Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, or Nigel is preferred
